2025 EBA WMU Annual Report

Over the last year our churches have participated in several compassion ministries of WMU. We collected 107 Christmas backpacks that were distributed to upstate South Carolina and in the Appalachian area. These backpacks helped meet the spiritual and physical needs of children and teens living in those areas. We also collected 487 prisoner packets that were distributed to inmates in our state.
The annual Pastors and Wives Appreciation Christmas Dinner was held at FBC Springfield. We had 24 in attendance and enjoyed a time of fellowship with good food and fun games.
After our last MissionFest in 2024 we decided to hold that event every other year, so we are planning on the next one being in the spring of 2026.
Our Fall Meeting was held in August at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. Jennifer Smith was elected as our new EBA Association WMU Director and Laura Tiedman as the Assistant Director. Our speakers were Meg Coffman an IMB missionary and Hannah Smith, our SC WMU Adult Consultant. They shared their testimonies and encouraged us to strive to make disciples of Jesus who live on mission with Joy!
